About The Exam
The QA Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment (RQF) is ideal for people who work in, or want to work in, a construction environment. It has been specifically designed to provide successful candidates with a route to
applying for the Green Labourer CSCS Card.
Supported by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), this regulated and nationally recognised qualification has been developed to provide a basic awareness of health and safety within construction.
Successful candidates will gain an understanding of the risks of working in a construction environment, principles of risk assessments for improving health and safety at work, the importance of working safely at height and much more.

Price is for 1 learner, additional fee of £22.75 due when booking exam. Maximum 8 learners per course.
Exam is held online at least a week following the course and must be taken within 4 weeks of completing the course.
Learners must be at least 14 years old on the first day of the training.
It is recommended that candidates have a minimum of Level 1 literacy and numeracy or equivalent.
Learners must complete an on line registration form with photo id at least 3 days prior to training.
Minimum requirements for regulated exam is PC/Laptop with webcam + mobile phone with camera
