About The Exam
The QA Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders (RQF) confirms the ability to meet ‘license to practise’ requirements. This 1 day course allows holders of the qualification to apply for a personal licence under the Licensing Act 2003 (England and Wales) which allows the holder to sell or authorise the sale of alcohol on licensed premises. A personal licence is also required to apply to become a designated premises supervisor (DPS).
This qualification has been designed for those who want to work in, or are looking to advance their career in the licensed retail sector. Successful candidates will gain an understanding of the application process for a personal licence, the legal duties of a personal licence holder and the role, responsibilities and functions of licensing authorities.

Price is for 1 learner and includes course book.
Maximum 8 learners per course.
Exam to be booked seperately (fee 22.75).
Exam is held online at least a week following the course and must be taken within 4 weeks of completing the course.
Learners must be at least 18 years old on the first day of the training.
It is recommended that candidates have a minimum of Level 1 literacy and numeracy or equivalent.
Learners must complete an on line registration form with photo id at least 3 days prior to training.
Minimum requirements for regulated exam is PC/Laptop with webcam + mobile phone with camera
