About the course
Our interactive Health and Safety in the Workplace e-Learning course will ensure you build understanding and awareness required to keep yourself and others safe within the workplace at all times.By taking this 6 hour course you will explore issues around health and safety in the workplace and the role individuals play in maintaining a safe working environment.
The course is a fantastic resource for raising all employee’s health and safety awareness, including those entering work for the first time or returning to work.
Topics covered include:
- Roles and responsibilities of employers and employees (including health and safety laws)
- Identifying and controlling risks from common workplace hazards
- How risk assessments contribute to health and safety (including risk control hierarchy)
- Procedures for responding to accidents and incidents
This course is valid for 180 days (approx. 6 months) from when the course is assigned to a learner.

Please note – on its own, this e-Learning does not result in a Qualsafe ‘regulated’ qualification.
Certificates will be Emailed to learners within a week of passing their exam.
Entry requirements:
Learners must be at least 14 years old on the day of the exam.
Exam MUST be taken within 4 weeks of completion of e-Learning.
There are no other formal entry requirements but to benefit from the learning we advise that Learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy.
The e-Learning course MUST be completed before attending the exam.
Learners MUST produce their photo id to the invigilator before sitting the exam.
Exam must be booked seperately.
